978-468-4461

Raymond Hawkins
Director of Music & Organist
Although a native of California's Bay Area, Raymond spent most of his formative years in the Carolinas where he formally began his career as a church musician at the age of fourteen. After completing his undergraduate degree in organ performance in 2019 at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, he moved to the Boston area in pursuit of colder, snowier winters and fresh musical opportunities (in that order). Before coming to Christ Church, Raymond enjoyed a successful tenure as Director of Music and Organist at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Marblehead, MA, where he continued to hone his craft as a church musician with a particular passion for creative hymn playing and improvisation. Today, he and his wife, Casey, happily reside in Hamilton where they enjoy tending their garden and keeping their bees while their cat, Vespers, keeps watch from the windowsill.
Grace Chmura
Parish Day School director
Originally from Ohio, Grace moved to South Hamilton when her father took a teaching position at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton. She graduated from Gordon College and went on to do a Masters at Northeastern. Grace started attending Christ Church with her husband, Greg, and children in 1993 and fell in love with the church and Day School. Grace served on the Board while her three children attended the Day School, and, after years of running her own daycare and teaching at the local public schools, she accepted the Director position at the Day School in 2007. Working at the Day School is a "dream job" for Grace, and she feels blessed to be able to spend every school day and Sundays on the beautiful Christ Church campus. Grace has three children: Nathaniel, Hannah, and Benjamin.
