  • The Rev. Patrick Gray

    Rector

    617-840-5562

    [email protected]

Patrick grew up in Wilmington, DE, and moved to the local area to attend Gordon College, graduating in 1992 with a B.A. in Political Studies.  He and his wife Naomi (married in 1992) both attended Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, graduating in 1997 with a M.A. in Theology, while living at the Stephen Phillips Memorial Trust House in Salem as the resident docents.  Patrick also has an S.T.M. in Anglican Theology from The General Theological Seminary in New York City (1998).  Patrick was ordained to the diaconate in 2001, and to the priesthood in 2002, when he began work as the Associate Rector at The Church of the Advent in Boston.  In 2009, Patrick and his family (Naomi and two children, Ezra & Eleanor) moved into the Rectory at Christ Church.  Although from the Mid-Atlantic, Patrick now feels as if he is a New Englander since the ups and downs of the Red Sox effect him emotionally.

  • The Rev. Susan Russell

    Assisting Priest

    440-781-1614

    [email protected]

Susan came to Christ Church in 2011, having retired from full-time work in the Dioceses of Massachusetts and Ohio.  Though she is native of the Boston area and a graduate of Northfield Mt. Hermon School, Susan spent many years in Ohio, earning the B Mus degree from Oberlin College and, after teaching music and working in college admissions sor several years, had the opportunity to earn an MDiv from Seabury-Western Theological Seminary in Evanton, IL.  Married to the Christ Church Organist/Choirmaster, Jack Russell, Susan served parishes in Medina and Parma, Ohio before Jack’s retirement from the College of Wooster in 2008 brought them back to Boston.  Jack and Susan have two sons, David and Tim, both of whom had the good sense to settle in eastern Massachusetts, marry wonderful women and raise brilliant children, all of whom Susan and Jack thoroughly enjoy.

  • The Rev. DEan Borgman

    Parish ADMINISTRATOR

    978-468-4461

    [email protected]

Time flies! Lorrie has been a part of the Christ Church community for 9 years. She is thankful to be able to work with the staff and parishioners here for the common goal of sharing God's love.

  • Naomi Gray

    Director of Children's ministries

    508-494-9448

    [email protected]

Naomi grew up on a farm in Minnesota.  Graduating from the College of St. Benedict (BA in Liberal Studies) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Ma in theology), she cherishes both diverse experiences, one where she grew to love the holiness of God and the other more learning about the word of God.  She has completed all three levels of training for our formation program for children, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.  She is especially thankful for and enjoys her two children, Ezra and Eleanor, and husband Patrick; and her work at Christ Church with the marvelous children, families, and volunteers as we grow together in Christ.

  • Grace Chmura

    Parish Day School director

    [email protected]

Originally from Ohio, Grace moved to South Hamilton when her father took a teaching position at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in South Hamilton. She graduated from Gordon College and went on to do a Masters at Northeastern. Grace started attending Christ Church with her husband, Greg, and children in 1993 and fell in love with the church and Day School.  Grace served on the Board while her three children attended the Day School, and, after years of running her own daycare and teaching at the local public schools, she accepted the Director position at the Day School in 2007.  Working at the Day School is a "dream job" for Grace, and she feels blessed to be able to spend every school day and Sundays on the beautiful Christ Church campus.  Grace has three children: Nathaniel, Hannah, and Benjamin.
